CEEIARAGON. 30 years of entrepreneurship and innovation in Aragon

The European Business and Innovation Center of Aragon has been contributing to the generation and strengthening of an ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation in the Autonomous Community of Aragon since 1992.

Thank you for joining us in the celebration of the 30th anniversary, a moment that we take the opportunity to recognize the work of CEEIARAGON and the companies that have formed and make up the ecosystem of our center.

Currently, CEEIARAGON is a public company owned by the Department of Economy, Planning and Employment of the Government of Aragon (through the Public Business Corporation of Aragon), 97.86 %, and has as shareholders the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Zaragoza (0.40 %), University of Zaragoza (0.40 %), CEOE Aragón (0.40 %), CEPYME Aragón (0.40 %), UGT Aragón (0.27 %) and CCOO Aragón (0.27 %). Thanks to all of them, the company has been able to develop as a reference center for the development of innovative business projects in Aragon, Spain and Europe.

Proof of this is that it has recently renewed the 'EU BIC' seal of quality, being the only entity in Aragon to hold it. This seal is a European recognition for its operating model and certifies compliance with the quality criteria required by the European Commission for a support center for entrepreneurship and startups. It is the only international seal that officially recognizes the standards required in the acceleration and incubation processes of innovative and technology-based companies, which attests to the excellent work carried out by CEEIARAGON in a highly qualified entrepreneurial segment.

It has also been recognized as the best incubator in Aragon and the best center in the basic incubation phase in Spain in the ranking of incubators 2022/2023 published by Funcas and the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, in which these organizations analyze the services provided by incubators and accelerators throughout the country.

Likewise, the greatest recognition for CEEIARAGON is the satisfaction of the companies that make it up, which in 2021 have given an 8'9 in the satisfaction survey; as well as the survival of the graduated companies: 80% of the startups that have gone through CEEIARAGON survive their first 10 years of life.

With this recognition, the 15 people who make up the CEEIARAGON team and from its three headquarters: Huesca, Teruel and Zaragoza, we continue to work alongside the innovative Aragonese entrepreneurs to enhance their projects and companies, help them to scale, to grow, to get funding, to form teams, to create their strategic plans ... All this with extensive experience and an eye on the future, to continue strengthening the Aragonese business fabric through innovation and from the base.
