Thanks to the more than 20 years that I have been advising companies and making investments in the pig sector, it has helped me to hold a possible improvement in the process of buying and selling pigs. Together with 14 entrepreneurs in the area of Huesca and Lleida, where the sector has a great economic and social weight, we promote this project of digitization of the marketing process in the pig sector.
Three Tips
- 1º Surrounding yourself with a great team of professionals who support the project is the key to achieving the objectives set out in the business plan. 2º Having independence with respect to the big groups of the sector generates the confidence in the users to be able to act as an impartial agent. 3º Having an international vision increases the project's chances of success and offers users more marketing options.
Future
We want to consolidate Mercopig as an online marketplace of reference in the Spanish and European pork sector, to extrapolate the system to other less mature markets at a later stage.
