PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Development of a cross-border start-up acceleration methodology. ACELE-StartUps partners are: ITAINNOVA (lead partner), CEEIARAGON, CEEI Crescendo and the CUTP - University Centre of Tarbes-Pyrénées. Project duration 36 months.
OBJECTIVES
The general objective of the project is the creation of a cross-border methodology for the acceleration of start-ups and young companies with the aim of promoting their growth and internationalisation. The cross-border nature of this project facilitates the establishment of relations between companies on both sides of the border, favouring their internationalisation and the implementation of joint activities.
The specific objectives of the project will be:
- Facilitate the establishment of cooperation agreements and joint activities between companies on both sides of the border.
- To help start-ups and young companies to grow, innovate and internationalise, increasing their chances of survival.
- For the partners: to establish and validate a common methodology for the acceleration of technology-based companies, with different instruments suitable for different types of companies.
EXPECTED RESULTS
The main result is the development and validation of a cross-border start-up acceleration methodology that facilitates the internationalisation and growth of companies, favouring the signing of cooperation and commercialisation agreements with foreign companies and, more closely, with companies on the other side of the border.
Another result of the project will be to be able to establish commercial agreements for the companies derived from the internationalisation activities financed.
ERDF FUNDS
The project has been co-financed 65% by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg V-A Spain-France-Andorra Programme (POCTEFA 2014-2020). The objective of POCTEFA is to strengthen the economic and social integration of the Spain-France-Andorra border area. Its support focuses on the development of cross-border economic, social and environmental activities through joint strategies for sustainable territorial development.
