Next December 20, Wednesday, from 9.30 am to 10.00 am we will carry out a new CEEI Digital Breakfast entitled “Essential legal aspects of Generative Artificial Intelligence”.
At this moment we are already exposed, as a society, to the effects of Generative Artificial Intelligence, a higher degree of General Artificial Intelligence, which allows us to generate texts, images and music autonomously and accurately, and which has an increasing impact on the world of business, research and citizen leisure.
Despite their promising capabilities, the operation of these systems can lead to substantial risks to privacy and personal data protection, confidentiality, integrity, data security and copyright, among others.
Immediately, therefore, important questions arise:
To whom is authorship of a work made by artificial intelligence attributed?,
How can we protect ourselves from the creation and proliferation of deep fakes (referring to the application of AI to create, alter or manipulate content, such as images, audios and videos in such a way as to create content that looks real, but is not)?
Can any civil liability be attributed to the manufacturers of AI systems?
How is the right to transparency and explainability of individuals whose personal data are used by AI systems guaranteed?
How can individuals whose data are used by AI systems protect their rights?
To address these issues, so topical, we have the presence of Ricardo Oliva León, Bachelor of Law, expert in law of new technologies and managing partner of the law firm Algoritmo Legal.
We are waiting for you!
