On January 26th, Thursday, from 9.30 am to 10.00 am, we will carry out a new CEEI Digital Breakfast to present the Aragonese Plan to Promote the Social Economy and thus deepen its objectives, challenges and actions to be developed.
The Plan seeks to build a new economic architecture in Aragon based on the promotion of the social economy, generating opportunities in the territory and for people, and to this end includes specific measures and actions aimed at entities such as cooperatives, worker-owned companies, insertion companies or special employment centers, including aid and subsidies, lines of financing or specialized training, among others.
In Aragon, the Social Economy is a decisive socioeconomic sector, with a wide presence and implantation in our territory. This is reflected in the large number of entities operating in Aragon, their distribution in a varied spectrum of sectors and activities, their capacity to generate quality, egalitarian and inclusive employment and their important contributions to territorial economic development, being a very important socioeconomic sector in Aragon, representing 8.49% of the total number of companies in Aragon and 3.76% of total employment in the Autonomous Community.
Miguel Luis Lapeña, General Director of Planning and Economic Development of the Government of Aragon, will be present to talk about this initiative. He will explain the main characteristics of the Plan in relation to the Aragonese Law of Social Economy approved in the Aragonese Parliament last December 1st.
We are waiting for you!
