Next Thursday, May 5, at 10:00 h. CEEIARAGON, in collaboration with SODIAR, organizes a financial pill in digital format to publicize the new line of financing to support Aragonese companies affected by the war in Ukraine. The pill will last 45 minutes.
The Department of Economy, Planning and Employment of the Government of Aragon, through the public company SODIAR, has enabled an extraordinary line of financing to support Aragonese companies affected by the consequences of the conflict in Ukraine and to facilitate the sustainability of the activity of the productive fabric of the autonomous community.
This new line of loans, endowed with seven million Euros, will make it possible to meet the working capital and investment needs of the companies, with special attention to self-employed and SMEs, in the current economic situation generated by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The line ‘Support for companies in the Ukraine conflict’ will be used to cover the liquidity needs of companies directly or indirectly affected by this serious disruption of the economy, which may result, among other consequences, in a significant reduction in demand; the interruption or loss of contracts or projects; disruptions in the supply chains; and the abnormal rise in the prices of raw materials and supplies, especially energy. Aragonese companies may apply for these loans (between 5,000 and 100,000 euros) until December 10 and the interest may be subsidized by SODIAR at 100% (subject to de minimis), without any type of commissions.
Specifically, through this new line, loans will be granted to self-employed persons and legal entities -among them, commercial cooperatives- whose fiscal and social domicile is in Aragón or, exceptionally, when they maintain a center of activity in the autonomous community that is relevant from a social or economic point of view.
The conference will be presented by Celia García, managing director of CEEIARAGON, with the intervention of Pedro Barreiro, managing director of SODIAR, who will explain what the new line of financing consists of and all the details regarding it. Afterwards, Concepción Ramos, business project advisor at CEEIARAGON, will moderate the question and answer session.
